Flatiron Health

Transformative software and analytics platform serving the oncology and life sciences markets

The Story

Flatiron Health was founded by Nat Turner and Zach Weinberg in 2012 in response to witnessing several family members and friends battle cancer. After their first technology company, Invite Media, was acquired by Google in 2010, Nat and Zach teamed up again to bring modern software and data analytics to the oncology industry. Since then, the company has grown into a leading provider of cloud-based software for oncologists and sophisticated analytics tools for life sciences companies in the oncology space.

Stripes has known Nat and Zach since their days at Invite Media, and the Stripes team built a relationship with the Flatiron Health team as they successfully executed on their vision to become a leader in the oncology software, data, and analytics space. When Nat and Zach decided to raise a Series C financing led by strategic investor Roche, the world’s largest oncology pharmaceutical company, they reached out to Stripes to see if we would partner with them as they entered their next phase of growth. We are very excited to be working with such an innovative company as they continue to drive value for all constituents in the oncology ecosystem, and strive to change the way the world treats cancer.
