Sandata was founded in 1978 in Port Washington, NY, as a scheduling, billing, payroll, and data processing company. Over the past five years, Sandata has evolved from the leading time and attendance product provider to a leading, comprehensive IT solutions provider to the home healthcare market. The company has a long track record of growth and profitability with a customer base composed of both home healthcare agencies and managed care organizations. As the agencies and payors face uncertain economic times, they are increasingly turning to Sandata’s solutions which are designed specifically to save money and improve the quality of care by streamlining operations, ensuring plan of care compliance, reducing fraud and abuse, reducing administrative costs and paperwork, and improving cash flow.

Stripes made a minority investment in Sandata in 2010 and is the first institutional investor in Sandata which has been run by its founder since inception. Stripes will provide strategic support and expertise. Stripes Group has worked closely with Harold Blue, CEO of Sandata, to help build out the Company’s senior-level management team.
