Background

Akshay is focused on sourcing and executing investments across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Stripes Group, Akshay worked as an Associate at Battery Ventures focusing on sourcing private equity investments, including growth equity, buyouts, rollups, PIPES and take-privates. Prior to Battery, he was a Senior Analyst in the Global Technology Group at Citigroup Global Markets, where he focused on M&A and equity and debt financings.

Education

He graduated with a BS in Finance from Rutgers University, where he also majored in Computer Science.

Interests

Akshay enjoys playing and watching football, golf, baseball and basketball.  He won an online No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament against 3,500 participants.  Akshay lives in New York and was born and raised in Bombay, India.
