Background

Brent is an Operating Partner with Stripes Group, proficient in Retail Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and related Software Design, Development and Implementation.

Brent spent nearly ten years of his career designing and implementing significant components of Amazon.com’s supply chain; as one of Amazon’s early employees, he was initially responsible for Amazon’s international supply chain strategy. From there, Brent’s focus included the management of Amazon’s WW transportation function, the development of Amazon’s hard-line buying teams and systems and the inbound half of Amazon.com’s WW Operations. Brent spent his last two years at Amazon designing and implementing Amazon’s Vendor Management program. Many of the systems developed under Brent’s charge are still in place today as cornerstones of Amazon’s merchandising and fulfillment system.

Brent spent the prior half of his career with Ernst & Young, LLP (E&Y). During his tenure with E&Y he chartered a consulting practice focused on developing financial and operating strategies for startup and early-stage concerns.
