Background

Brian is focused on sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across a wide variety of sectors.  Prior to joining Stripes, Brian founded Jack Robie, a designer and online retailer of men’s sport shirts.  Previously, he served as an associate in the technology investment banking group at JMP Securities in San Francisco where he led the group’s effort in the eCommerce and digital media sectors.  During his tenure at JMP, Brian executed 12 M&A, IPO and private placement transactions in the technology sector for companies such as eHealth, US Auto Parts and LeadClick.

Interests

Brian is a Los Angeles native and enjoys surfing, snowboarding and long-distance running.  When not outdoors, he loves plugging in his Les Paul guitar and channeling his favorite blues artists.  Brian is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and has served as a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
