Background

Current Focus: In partnership with Ken, Dan leads the firm. He is actively involved with current Stripes Group partners: Art.com, Audio Network, Elance, Folica, Netbiscuits and Refinery29 and formerly MyWebGrocer.

Prior to joining Stripes in 2008, Dan spent 11 years in a variety of Strategic Planning, M&A/Investment, Operational and Start-Up roles across IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ:IACI). During his time at IAC, Dan served as President of Citysearch, founded two companies as CEO (Pronto.com and Gifts.com), spent time as SVP of Interactive Development, SVP of Strategic Planning (overseeing all Strategy, M&A and Investment activity) and EVP of Corporate Strategy and Development for Ticketmaster. Prior to IAC, Dan also spent time in the Consumer Products sector with PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay Division for six years, where he played a variety of operational roles including managing multiple brands with revenues exceeding more than $3 billion.
Dan’s additional prior board experience includes: Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE), Hotels.com (NASDAQ:ROOM), Ticketmaster (NASDAQ:TMCS), Active Network (NASDAQ:ACTV) and Oxygen Media.

Interests

Dan lives in New York City with his wife, three children and two Norfolk terriers. In his spare time, he avidly pursues whatever his children are pursuing at that particular moment and also enjoys travel, running, the beach, basketball and installing overly complex offensive schemes into Downtown NYC youth sports teams.
