Background

Karen is focused on sourcing and executing investments, as well as working with Stripes’ portfolio companies on specific strategic projects.

Prior to joining Stripes Group, Karen worked at Bain and Company, a business strategy consulting firm, where she consulted in the consumer products, technlogy and financial services industries.  Prior to Bain, Karen was an investment banking analyst at UBS in their Consumer Products group.

Education

Karen received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. She also graduated from Yale with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.A in Economics.

Interests

Karen is an avid cyclist, having biked across the United States just before joining Stripes and as a native of Canada, enjoys pretty much everything outdoors (running, cycling, etc) . She is actively involved in a Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build in Long Island, escaping the city on her weekends to help build homes for lower-income families. Karen lives in Soho in New York.
