Akshay focuses on sourcing, evaluating & executing investment opportunities across all target sectors, with a particular interest in SaaS and Consumer Products.
Prior to joining Stripes, Akshay served as a venture fellow for two years at Rough Draft Ventures – General Catalyst’s early-stage fund that backs founders at the university level. Before that, Akshay was a fellow at Foundation Capital and spent a summer interning at Flatiron Investors. While in school, he co-founded & served as president of Carnegie Mellon’s venture capital group, Scottie Ventures.
Akshay was born and raised in New Jersey. He loves exploring New York City and is an avid traveler, foodie and programmer. He is also on the junior board of the Children’s Scholarship Fund – a national non-profit that provides scholarships to low-income children K-8.
